Her creative work explores themes related to creativity and identity. As a photographer she loves to shoot creative portraits, as well as performers in their element. As a filmmaker her work explores themes related to creativity and identity. As a writer, her work includes creative fiction writing and poetry, as well as arts and culture reporting for numerous media outlets over the years. In 2017 she wrote a poem a day for one year, and is currently in the process of compiling these into a collection reviewing a year in poetry.
