About Mixed Media Creation

The guest facilitator, Ashley T. (she/her), is back and this time she will be guiding participants through creating a personal Giving Tree with mixed media.  This is an art piece that gives back its artist through visual motivation and empowerment in meeting their goals.

Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Free materials are available for pickup. 

Quantities are limited and on a first come, first served basis. 

 

Materials Needed for this Workshop

• Acrylic Paint

• Artist Palette or Paper Plate

• Brushes

• Canvas

• Glue Gun or White Glue

• Paper Towel

• Water

• Beads or Gems/Rhinestones

• Yarn or Thick-Gauge String

• Other Small Trinkets or Decorations (Optional)

About Ashley T.

​

Ashley T. is the founder of BOUNTIFUL Pride. As a young, Black Biracial, Bisexual Woman with Bipolar Disorder from Toronto, Ashley has coined herself as "The BiFecta”. She is a multidisciplinary artist and uses her art to ground and remind herself of the power she possesses to be a positive change in this world.
