About Casper Lynn

Born and raised in Florida to a military family, Casper Lynn graduated high school with an Associate in Arts Degree. 16 hours after graduation, they was on a plane to Japan where they adventured until 2011. After being evacuated out when the tsunami hit, Lynn lived in Korea for 3 years until they decided it was time to achieve their dream. They moved to Canada to attend Toronto Film School where they took Film Production.
A self taught writer, specializing in short form narrative- both prose and screenwriting, Casper has experience in musical theater, surviving natural disasters, and being a bombshell in the kitchen. They’re pursuing a career in sci-fi/fantasy TV writing with queer BIPOC leads that destigmatize mental illness. These causes are near and dear to their heart as they are a proud member of each community. Lynn also has the cutest dog partner on the planet, named Rose.
A producer of an award-winning short film, Her Little Rose, and a recipient of the Writers for Writer's Diversity Initiative in 2019, Lynn entered 2020 on a roll. They continued their success by winning the Al MaGee Diverse Screenwriter Award and participating in the Ontario Creates IDM Funds Futures Program. They joined Women In Film and Television Toronto and is currently attending BIPOC Kids' TV Writing Bootcamp III.
